Criminal Conviction Search By County and State: This search provides a verification of both felony and misdemeanor criminal records in the last 7-10 years through county court systems (and state, where available). Report will typically include name of defendant, date of birth, case number, type of charge, date of offense, plea, disposition, time served, fines and probation information for all addresses the candidate has resided and/or worked, as requested. |
Federal Search By Jurisdiction: This search is conducted through the federal court system to include all addresses the candidate has worked or resided, as requested, in the last 7-10 years. Report will typically include defendant name, case number, date of offense, type of record, jurisdiction, location of court, charges levied, and final disposition, including fines, probation and incarceration. The federal court filing typically does not include identifiers, such as date of birth, driver’s license or social security number in its case reports. |
National Criminal Database: The national criminal database is a nationwide search of a comprehensive criminal records database. When used in conjunction with county criminal searches, it can produce a comprehensive criminal background search, as well as an overall lower cost by better identifying which counties should be searched. National Sex Offender Registry: In order to provide our clients the best protection, we utilize the most comprehensive search available for Sex Offenders. Many companies provide similar database searches, but AIR takes the service farther!
- If there is a possible match, we work with our clients to ensure the identity of the sex offender listed by getting key identifiers, such as height, weight, race, identifying marks, etc.

Education Verification: Applicant information is verified for typically the highest level of education desired. Information verified may include dates of graduation or attendance, degree obtained and major/minor field of study. High school, GED or trade school verification to be included upon request. |

Using a detailed interviewing technique, we will attempt to ascertain details beyond the basics of job title, salary and eligibility for rehire. Motor Vehicle Record/Driving History: Using the applicant’s name, driver’s license number and state of issue provided, AIR will search for the applicant’s record in the state where they are currently licensed. This important check will verify the applicant’s driving record, lowering the liability risk for your company. This search includes the applicant’s type or class of driver’s license, any restrictions or violations, convictions and license revocations. Under some state’s privacy laws, the applicant’s home address and DOB may not appear on the report. |
Professional License Verification: This search provides verification of specified professional licensure through the appropriate state. Information can include: issuance date, license type, expiration date, and license status. |
Social Security Verification AIR utilizes a social security number validator to determine the validity of a social security number. This database obtains information directly from the Social Security Administration and provides verification on the state the SSN was issued, year issued, and if it is part of the death index. This does not indicate the applicant’s ability to work in the U.S.

This search involves applicant summary credit report provided by a major credit bureau. The report includes public record information, civil court judgments or liens, the number of trade accounts, ratings of trade accounts including negatives, and any collections, bankruptcies or bad debt information. Credit information is available for 7 years and bankruptcies are available up to 10 years. |

Check will usually reveal the nature of the complaint, status of suit, date of filing, names of plaintiffs and defendants, and whether or not a judgment was entered and for whom. Civil information is available up to 7 years. |
Eviction Reports: Utilizing a comprehensive database including 50 states and D.C., this search includes landlord/tenant court filings, such as prior tenant eviction cases filed, and monetary judgments, which may include address of case, date filed, plaintiff name, and judgment. Eviction reports may also include non-monetary judgments that are not normally included in credit reports. |
Social Security Trace: AIR utilizes a database that is compiled of regulated, proprietary and public data to help validate the information the applicant provided, such as current name, date of birth and address.
